Marin Humane (formerly The Marin Humane Society) is an organization that cares for dogs (and cats), rescues and shelters them, and provides adoption services. They are strong advocates for the well-being of all animals. They understand the importance of spaying and neutering.
Marin Humane commissioned me to create a series of newspaper ads featuring their employees and volunteers in a unique sketchbook-style. I drew some of these caring individuals at their facility in Marin County, California.
I truly believe that when you draw working people and share their stories, you honor them and what they do. Here are a few of the sketches I made of these inspiring people, who love and care for animals.
Here’s my rescue dog Bindi.
Terrific !
Love these portraits, what an excellent way to promote important work and the people doing it!
